Recommendation Paper for Enhancements to the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification
In June 2022, ISCA set up the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ) Advisory Panel comprising ISCA Council members, representatives from the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC), Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Accountant- General's Department (AGD) and professional accountants in business, practice and academia to study, discuss and recommend enhancements to the SCAQ.
Through the engagement of stakeholders (undergraduates, young accountants, professional accountants in business and practice) via surveys, focus groups and social media, we have received feedback and inputs that have been consolidated to form this paper.
This paper has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance for their consideration.
