The Experienced Professional Pathway is designed for experienced professionals who may not come through the traditional CA (Singapore) route, but who contribute meaningfully to business, leadership, education and the broader economy. Through this pathway, eligible professionals can become part of the ISCA community under one of three dedicated membership categories:

For teaching faculty and academic leaders. 

  • You shape curriculum. You influence future talent. You help students understand the role of the profession in business and society. 
  • ISCA Member (Academic) is designed for academics and teaching faculty in business, accounting, finance and related disciplines who want stronger connection with the profession and the broader business ecosystem.

Eligibility: 

  • Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant teaching, academic leadership or equivalent professional experience experience in business, accounting, finance or related disciplines

Clear distinction from CA (Singapore)

Members admitted through the Experienced Professional Pathway:  

  • are not conferred the CA (Singapore) designation  
  • are not permitted to use “CA” or “Chartered Accountant” in any form  
  • are part of a distinct non-regulatory membership category under ISCA  
    • Members will not have voting rights 
    • Members will not be required to fulfil CPE requirements 
    • Members remain subject to applicable ISCA membership terms and conditions

The pathway is intended to broaden professional participation and strengthen ecosystem engagement while preserving the standing and integrity of the CA (Singapore) designation

  • Latest Resume (with brief write-up on your relevant experience, job position, employment start and end dates), or, a link to your updated LinkedIn profile/professional online profile

Submit application and payment

We will notify you of the outcome within 4 weeks upon submission of all necessary supporting documents and payment

No. The pathway is experience based and recognises relevant professional contribution and leadership experience.  

No. Members admitted through this pathway are not conferred the CA (Singapore) designation.  

No. Members admitted under this pathway are not subject to mandatory CPE requirements. 
No. The pathway is open to eligible professionals from Singapore and overseas.
Applications are typically reviewed within a few weeks upon submission of complete supporting documents.
