As part of ISCA’s initiatives to provide relevant resources to the profession in the area of enhanced auditor reporting, ISCA is pleased to have Mr Paul George, Executive Director from the Conduct Division of the United Kingdom (UK) Financial Reporting Council (FRC) share the UK experience in an exclusive session for auditors who audit listed entities.
Paul provided a glimpse of how the enhanced auditor’s report has changed the financial reporting landscape in the UK, some insights into the UK implementation experience, the challenges faced by the profession, as well as the critical success factors for successful implementation. Paul also shared the FRC’s observations on how the auditors have executed the Key Audit Matters reporting process and also shared tips with the auditors.
