One-on-One Consultation

ISCA is collaborating with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth on the provision of shared services for charities. The collaboration with the SG Cares Office and the Office of the Commissioner of Charities is intended to support the enhancement of governance as well as management capabilities and capacities of charities, Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) and non-profit organisations (NPOs), in particular, those which are smaller and may have limited resources.

Under the collaboration, ISCA members can volunteer their skills by providing pro bono guidance on matters regarding finance and accounting.

If your organisation needs pro bono advice on matters regarding finance and accounting, you may register with us to receive pro bono basic advice from our Volunteer Advisors via a one-on-one consultation session. The consultation session will take place on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays and eve of public holidays) during working hours from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. During the consultation, you will be able to seek advice from our members who are qualified accountants on a one-on-one basis for up to 30 minutes.

Eligibility criteria for Consultation session

  • Your organisation is a non-profit organisation, registered or exempt charity, or IPCs in Singapore.
  • Your organisation is seeking basic financial and accounting advice.
  • You are seeking consultation for matters not related to any previous consultations that you had regardless of whether it was organised by ISCA.

Registration is required before an appointment can be made for a consultation session.

To register for an appointment, complete the registration form HERE.

The registration will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. You will receive an acknowledgement email after your submission.

After registering, we will assess the eligibility of your organisation for a consultation session. We will then attempt to match your case with a Volunteer Advisor. If a match is successful, an appointment will be arranged for you to meet one of our Volunteer Advisors.

Please note that we reserve the right to turn down requests for appointments by applicants who fail to meet the criteria for this pro bono advice and ISCA is not obligated to provide the reasons for rejection.

Disclaimer: The advice given at these sessions shall be as a matter of guidance only and is not intended to replace, substitute or supplement professional advice and action that may be needed in each case. The Volunteer Advisors are bound by law not to act any further for the attendees of these free consultation sessions.
